Anne Smith

Alexander Technique

In the context of her musical education, Anne Smith became acquainted with the Alexander Technique in 1978, in her search to overcome difficulties in movement and coordination through a better integration of her organism. Over the years she had lessons from many different teachers until she was inspired through her lessons with Dr. Donald Weed, D.C. and founder of the “Interactive Teaching Method of the Alexander Technique”, to train with him as an Alexander teacher. She has been teaching the Alexander Technique since 1997, often to musicians.
